The refill for the ThermOne A. 23 meters, 87 to 126 towels. One hundred percent natural plant fibers, used once, then compostable. The number of towels from a roll depends on the length you have set on the device.
Why not cloth
A cloth towel must be collected, washed, dried, folded, and stored. Afterwards it is clean, but no one can tell how often it has been. A towel from this roll has never been used before. That is the whole difference, and it is the reason why cosmetic studios and restaurants are switching.
3D Pearl Texture
The surface is textured, not smooth. It stores more moisture and absorbs more when wiping, which makes all the difference in facials and make-up removal. The cloth remains lint-free and does not tear, even when wet.
Just as usable dry
Without water, it is a dry cleaning cloth; with water, it is a refreshing cloth. Free of optical brighteners and therefore suitable for sensitive skin.
Fits into the ThermOne A
The rolls are matched to the width and core of the respective device. This one belongs in the ThermOne A. For the larger ThermOne Pro C, there is the 56-meter roll. A roll of a different length does not fit mechanically; this is intentional and prevents jams in the device.
What remains in the end
Nothing that needs to be sorted. The towels are biodegradable and compostable. For spas, gyms, restaurants, and homes, this is the most convenient part of the equation: there is no return.

What is an oshibori?
An oshibori is the moist towel handed out before a meal in Japan. Warm in winter, chilled in summer. What began as a courtesy has become an expectation: once you have had one, you miss it.
How does an oshibori machine work?
Load the roll, fill in water, press the button. The machine cuts a towel off the roll, moistens it and brings it to temperature. The towel only comes into being at that moment. Nobody has handled it before.
Warm or cold towel, and when?
The same machine does both. For cold towels you add ice cubes instead of hot water. In summer at reception and after sport, in winter after the meal and before the shave.
Single-use or cloth, which is more hygienic?
A cloth towel is as clean as its last wash cycle and the box it is kept warm in. A towel from the machine is made at the moment it is dispensed and discarded afterwards. There is no cycle in which something can go wrong.
Are the towels environmentally friendly?
The towels are made from plant fibres rather than plastic. On top of that the entire laundry cycle disappears: no detergent, no fabric softener, no trip to the laundry service, no warming box running all day.
What does a single towel cost?
The price per towel is the price of the refill roll divided by the number of towels on it. Add tap water and the electricity the machine uses. No laundry invoice, no detergent, no minimum order.
Does it make sense at home too?
That is what the compact model is for. It works exactly like the larger machines: fill in water, load the roll, press the button. On a sideboard it turns dinner into an occasion.

Can I try the machine first?
CalmConcept runs in daily service at the NAIPO store, Am Grasbrookpark 1 in Hamburg HafenCity. Drop in, try it, hold a warm towel. No appointment needed.
What water goes into the dispenser?
Ordinary tap water works. We still recommend distilled or soft, low-lime water: limescale builds up inside the device, and whatever builds up has to be descaled later. The softer the water, the less often.
