An eye massager is a pair of goggles that provides warmth and gentle pressure. It is designed for the minutes after a long day in front of a screen, when your eyes are tired and your temples are throbbing.
How it works. Air chambers in the goggles alternately fill and apply light pressure to the areas around the eye, not to the eyeball itself. In addition, heat is applied, usually between 38 and 42 degrees Celsius, and some models also have a cooling function. Many devices play music via Bluetooth, because closed eyes and silence are unfamiliar to many.
What you should know. Most programs last ten to fifteen minutes, after which the device switches off. If you wear contact lenses, remove them beforehand. In cases of eye diseases, recent operations or increased intraocular pressure, the application should be medically clarified beforehand.
