Today, almost everyone labels their massage devices as “Shiatsu Massage” – why don't you?
To answer this question, it is first important to understand what Shiatsu actually means. A Shiatsu massage is a traditional Japanese massage in which pressure is applied to the body using the thumbs. This pressure is usually performed in conjunction with a circular motion. This type of massage can release muscle tension, stimulate blood circulation, and get blocked energies flowing again. This activates the self-healing powers and we find our balance again. For this reason, not all massage devices can be labeled as "Shiatsu Massage".
For example, there are also massage devices that perform a tapping massage and are therefore not Shiatsu massages. However, most of our devices are Shiatsu massage devices and are labeled as such. It is very important to us that the customer knows and understands the different types of massage in order to find a device that suits them. How do your models differ from the competition?
We sell our products directly to the end customer, without wholesalers and intermediaries. This has the advantage that we can offer our products at the same quality as the competition at a lower price. Also, customer proximity is much closer here, so that customer feedback comes directly to us. This enables us to react quickly to problems and continuously improve our products and our service.
Are only healthy people allowed to use your devices?
A clear no! We want to help people with our devices. This starts with people who are stressed by their work or, for example, in their family, and are looking for relaxation with our massage devices. Office workers with back problems or athletes with muscle tension also trust our products. Seniors with muscle pain also experience relief thanks to our massage devices.
Sometimes we also receive inquiries from customers with a pacemaker asking us if they can use our devices with their pacemaker. It depends on the pacemaker model. If we can provide 100% certainty, we advise these customers immediately. Otherwise, we always refer them to a doctor.
Are the massage devices suitable for pregnant women?
Pregnant women should naturally be particularly careful with massages during pregnancy. The well-being of the child must always come first. Therefore, we recommend products for the neck and shoulder to pregnant women, as this area is often tense in pregnant women. Foot massagers can also be used without problems. Massage devices for the back and near the abdomen, as well as massage chairs, should be avoided during pregnancy.
Are you planning more products in 2020?
As a specialist manufacturer of massage devices, we naturally ensure that our devices comply with the latest standards and technologies. Thus, new products are regularly added to our range. For 2020, we have focused primarily on new massage chairs. The topic of health, relaxation, and well-being is now also gaining increasing popularity in Germany. Especially in Asian countries, massages are part of everyday life and offer real added value to the quality of life. Due to the high prices for professional massages, a regular massage is not possible for the majority of people in Germany. This is precisely where we want to start and offer people in Germany a regular, affordable massage.
To launch a new product, our research department must first develop a new product. Before it goes into production, the products must, of course, be certified to ensure that the product poses no safety risks and that the materials comply with EU standards.
Where do you sell devices? Is Naipo also available on Amazon or other online shops?
We offer our products on major marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Real, Rakuten, Cdiscount). Our products can also be found and ordered via our own webshop naipo.de. In addition, we publish informative blog articles on our webshop about massage and well-being. Furthermore, two retail stores in Hamburg are planned for 2020, where our customers can test the products on site and expect intensive advice. In the coming years, this concept will be implemented nationwide.
