When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday is always the Friday after American Thanksgiving, so in 2026 it is 27 November. Three days later comes Cyber Monday on 30 November. Many retailers now start their promotions earlier and speak of a whole Black Week. If you have a particular model in mind, watch its price from mid-November.
How to spot a genuine deal
Since 2022, a clear rule has applied in Germany: anyone advertising a price reduction must state, for comparison, the lowest price they charged in the previous 30 days. A crossed-out price based on a recommended retail price is something else. It says nothing about what the chair last actually cost at that retailer.
So make a note of the price of the model you want as early as October. Then on Black Friday you will know straight away whether the discount is real or only looks good.
Compare like with like
Massage chairs often carry different names at different retailers. So do not compare the names, compare the values on the data sheet: the track length, the number of airbags, the massage types, the reclining position and the warranty. What counts besides the price
A massage chair is a purchase for many years. A few points therefore weigh more heavily than a discount on the promotion day:
- Delivery time: at the end of November and in December, freight carriers are fully booked. If the chair is to be a Christmas present, ask about the delivery date before ordering.
- Assembly: check whether the chair will be carried into your home and assembled, or only delivered to the front door.
- Service: ask who carries out repairs under warranty and whether a technician comes to you. Nobody likes shipping a chair of this size.
- Returns: when you buy online, the 14-day right of withdrawal also applies to reduced goods. Check beforehand who organises and pays for the return.
Showroom models as an alternative
If you do not want to wait until November, there is a second option all year round: showroom models and refurbished chairs.
